| Synopsis:
The Wades were very concern about keeping the heat out
of their 2200 sq. ft. house, a major concern for everyone
who lives the desert valley of Borrego Springs. The summer
temperatures are commonly 120° F. For this reason,
Eco-Block, or insulated concrete forms, was selected as
the building material. The typical R-value is around 40
and is easy to construct for just about anyone. The floor
plan was designed around the comfort of the family which
consists of three young kids. |
