Synopsis: This small loft is located in a cozy family room with a high ceiling. The loft will both enlarge the usable space and create an additional sleeping area for guests. The main construction is welded steel with oversized wood posts and beams. All of the metal details were customized to work with the design - no standard pieces were used.
 
Update: The home was lost to the October 2003 San Diego wild fires. The project was not completed.
